the great Khan teaches about anger

The Great Khan teaches the Young Khan a lesson... about anger.

When the Young Khan, a master of all things not to be complimented, was a younger man he called on his master, the Great Khan.

Wishing to impress the Great Khan, he said, “The mind, and all sentient beings after all do not exist. The true nature of phenomenon is emptiness. There is no realisation, no delusion, no sagacity, no mediocrity, nothing to give and nothing to receive.

The Great Khan promptly hit him with his walking stick. The Young Khan became quite furious.

The Great Khan said quietly: “If nothing exists, where did this anger come from?”
