The great Khan, his stallion, Badshah and Besharam Khan

Our good friend, the great Khan, of the hidden village in the high mountains of western Himalayas, hated his brother-in-law terribly, as he did everyone from his wife's family. Once, his brother-in-law, Besharam Khan, came up to the great Khan and asked to borrow his horse to go to the city in the plains below the great tall Himalayas. Since his wife was watching, and she knew all about their horses, the great Khan chose the best one that he had. A tall, muscular, strong black stallion, his favorite, and handed him over to Besharam Khan. As guidance, he told him that the stallion, Badshah, could be handled on two words alone... first - to get him walking, one said, "Inshallah", and to get him to stop, one said, "Khuda Gawah".

Besharam Khan memorised the instructions, and rode the tall stallion, Badshah, out of the village. It was an extremely long ride along the plateau, and out of the clouds, and down the crag, before one would come to the sharply winding, extremely narrow trails that almost did not exist, until one even came to begin the descent. After a while, with Badshah riding the trails that he knew for so many years, through the clouds, with confidence, Besharam Khan began dozing on the saddle.

After a while, Besharam Khan woke up and realised that Badshah, the tall black stallion, was walking through the clouds to the edge of a cliff, and may perhaps not see the craggy sides. Remembering the great Khan's instructions, Besharam Khan shouted, "Khuda Gawah!!! Khuda Gawah!!!" Immediately, the stallion stopped, barely half-an-inch from the edge.

Realising that he could have been killed, and that he had saved himself, by the skin of his teeth, Besharam Khan, looked up, raised his hands and said, "Inshallah!!!"
